British air rescue crew honoured at The Millies

Air rescue crew members of the UK’s Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Navy were recognised for their life-saving work at the fifth annual Sun Military Awards (The Millies) recently. Organised by The Sun newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, the awards ceremony was held at the Imperial War Museum, London, on 6 December and was attended by senior military and government officials along with members of the royal family.

REACH Air Medical Services acquired by Air Medical Group Holdings

Air Medical Group Holdings, Inc. (AMGH) has officially announced its acquisition of REACH Medical Holdings LLC, parent company of REACH Air Medical Services, which is headquartered in Santa Rosa, California, US.

As of 5 December, REACH joined a family of three air ambulance companies already owned by AMGH: Air Evac Lifeteam of West Plains, Missouri; Med-Trans Corporation of Dallas, Texas and EagleMed of Wichita, Kansas.

Bangladesh Army gains Dauphins for humanitarian missions

The Bangladesh Army has marked its formal service introduction of two new Eurocopter AS365 N3+ Dauphin helicopters, which will be deployed on United Nations humanitarian missions and operated in multi-role transport duties for the republic. The aircraft were presented today during a ceremony at the military service’s Dhaka Cantonment headquarters.
